memory : a painting from the house i grew up in. it is a reproduction of a
rembrandt, a soldier in a golden helmet emerging from the darkness.
i always wondered why this was in our home. i thought he was a relative,
yet noone knew who this menacing figure was. i imagined his eyes followed me.
i've since photographed it, photographed it as i remember it; a surface of
bewilderment and fear.

memory : i just remember what the people i love like and dislike,
the smell of lemon, I also remember when i climbed the oak tree taking the
cat with me. With the help of a small cloth -my sister and I- thought it could fly.
She stood waitning just in case things didn't worked very well. The cat didn't
fly, but bited her. For the next two weeks we went every day to feed the cat to an
institution. As it was a street animal we didn' know if it had any diseases.
